Summer Program
- Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU): SEAGEP offers students an exceptional 10-week residential research experience. Students are placed in research labs and work alongside faculty and graduate students on a project related to their career goals. During this program, students participate in a seminar series, industry tours, and communication workshops. Seminars include student panels discussing topics including what to expect from graduate school, how to chose a graduate program, and how to apply. At the conclusion of the program, students turn in a research paper and make an oral presentation to help them improve their oral and written communications skills.
- International REU: An Alliance-wide International Undergraduate Research Experience provides students with the opportunity to conduct summer research at a variety of research institutions. In addition to LACCEI institutions, there are many existing global research collaborations at each of the primary partners that are available.
