University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

July 23 - July 30, 2011

This workshop is being hosted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and in collaboration with the Odum Institute for Research in Social Science, the nation's oldest multidisciplinary social science university institute.

With the continued success of the entry level courses for both the ACSBE Alliance and the National Alliance, the ACSBE Alliance and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has decided to continue to offer the intermediate course to both the ACSBE Alliance and the National Alliance entry-level workshop attendees.

WORKSHOP GOALS

The workshop is intended for graduate students that already possess an ENTRY-LEVEL knowledge of statistics (e.g. univariate, bivariate, multivariate stats). The format consists of lecture/discussions and hands-on activities in a teaching computer lab.

Additionally, there are a variety of social activities, primarily to promote inter institutional student bonding.
