Introduction to Data Analysis

This workshop is being hosted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill AGEP/ACSBE Graduate Fellows Program and in collaboration with the Odum Institute for Research in Social Science, the nation's oldest multidisciplinary social science university institute. 

The workshop is intended for graduate students needing ENTRY-LEVEL STATISTICS. Introduction to Data Analysis for the Social Sciences familiarizes students with basic concepts to ease their transition into their respective SBE disciplines.  The workshop provides an introduction to statistical software and data manipulation.  The format consists of lecture/discussions and hands-on activities in a teaching computer lab. 

Additionally, there are a variety of social activities, primarily to promote inter institutional student bonding.
