nATIONAL SBES ALLIANCE

Participating are representatives from twenty-three universities.  These institutions are formed into five (5) regional alliances across the country. 

These twenty-three universities are among the top twenty-five universities in the nation producing Ph.D. recipients in the social and behavioral sciences from underrepresented minority (URM) groups.  

The National SBE Alliances are modeled after NSF’s Alliance for Graduate Education for the Professoriate (AGEP).
